PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING OR USING ANY CASCADE BLADES PRODUCT
Cascade Blades products are designed as tools for lawful outdoor, hunting, camping, utility, and related purposes. Knives are inherently sharp tools and can cause serious injury or property damage if improperly used, handled, or maintained.
By purchasing, possessing, or using a Cascade Blades product, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Safe Use
You are solely responsible for using the knife safely, responsibly, and for lawful purposes. Always maintain control of the knife and use appropriate protective equipment and safe handling practices.
2. Legal Compliance
You are responsible for knowing and complying with all federal, state, county, and local laws governing the purchase, possession, carrying, transportation, and use of the knife. Cascade Blades does not represent that any particular knife is legal to possess or carry in your jurisdiction.
3. Intended Use
Cascade Blades knives are not intended to be used as toys or for purposes outside their intended design. Do not use a knife in a manner that could reasonably cause injury to yourself or another person.
4. Modification & Alteration
Modifying, altering, sharpening, disassembling, or otherwise changing a knife may affect its safety and performance. Cascade Blades is not responsible for damage or injury resulting from unauthorized modifications or misuse.
5. Children
Knives should be kept away from children and individuals who cannot safely handle a sharp tool. Adult supervision should be used whenever appropriate.
6. Maintenance & Inspection
Inspect your knife before each use. Do not use a knife with a damaged blade, loose handle, damaged locking mechanism, cracked components, or other condition that could make the knife unsafe.
7. Assumption of Risk
By purchasing and using a Cascade Blades product, you acknowledge that the use of a knife involves inherent risks, including cuts, puncture injuries, property damage, and other injuries that may result from improper handling, misuse, accidents, or failure to follow safe-use practices.
8. Limitation of Responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cascade Blades shall not be responsible for injuries, damages, losses, or other claims arising from the misuse, improper handling, unauthorized modification, unlawful use, or negligent use of a Cascade Blades product.
Nothing in this notice is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
9. Purchaser Responsibility
The purchaser is responsible for determining whether they are legally permitted to purchase, possess, carry, transport, or use the specific knife being purchased.
10. Use Common Sense
A knife is a tool that demands respect. Handle it responsibly, keep it maintained, and use it only for lawful and appropriate purposes.
Cascade Blades reserves the right to refuse a sale where required by law or where the company reasonably believes the transaction may violate applicable law.
